Adult males/females released from any Federal or Provincial Institutions who are on parole. All applicants for residency should have a firm desire to change their lifestyle and be prepared to abide by the rules of CJS Greenfield House.

ETA

CJS Greenfield House is open and welcomes, when feasible, Escorted Temporary Absence visitations by inmates and staff of various Institutions to view the Centre and meet with the personnel.

UTA

When necessary, CJS Greenfield House will support Unescorted Temporary Absence, which allows potential residents to visit CJS Greenfield House and stay overnight. This enables the individual, as well as the staff, the opportunity to assess and evaluate release plans prior to receiving full conditional release.

We also accept 60 day UTA’s for work and program purposes.

In order to assist the offenders in successfully completing their period of parole, these are some of the services available:

-          In House individual counseling sessions with the residential Social Worker and development  of an individual program plan for each client

-          Job search program in collaboration with other job placement agencies in the community, which assist clients through educational upgrading and development skills

-          Community based alcohol / drug counseling and Relapse Prevention Program

While at CJS Greenfield House, the client will be assigned a Counselor, who will provide him/her with guidance and assistance.

The role of staff is one whose primary objective is to assist the resident with the necessary skills to successfully re-integrate into the community.
